| Private higher education develops slowly in China.Around 1985,it was proposed to establish private schools.In 1998,the state proposed that colleges and universities should expand their enrollment to meet the needs of more people to receive higher education.At the same time,it also proposed that private colleges and universities should be allowed to be established.After 2000,the state began to approve the establishment of independent colleges.In Wuhan,there appeared Donghu Branch of Wuhan University and Hankou Branch of Central China Normal University.Since then,there has been a coexistence of public,private and semi-public(such as independent colleges)in Chinese universities,which has basically achieved the popularization of higher education.Since 2002,the government has further liberalized the school-running policies of private colleges and universities,allowing students to have the autonomy of enrollment.Private higher education began to develop rapidly.Under the momentum of rapid development of private colleges and universities,internal performance appraisal should also be adjusted.In recent years,private colleges and universities have launched performance pay reform programs.How to carry out performance pay reform,the primary reference is the results of performance appraisal.Therefore,it is an important problem for private colleges and universities to formulate a performance appraisal system for teachers in line with the school’s conditions.Based on the study of the current situation of performance appraisal in private colleges and universities in Jiangxi Province,and taking N college as an example,this paper makes an analysis and Research on the current situation of performance appraisal system in private colleges and universities in Jiangxi Province.Through the construction of performance appraisal system in N college this paper tries the necessity of applying key performance index method and comparative method in performance appraisal of teachers in private colleges and universities.On the basis of feasibility and feasibility,this paper studies more effective performance appraisal methods which can solve practical problems,and puts forward suggestions and suggestions for the reform of performance appraisal and evaluation. |
