Geographical practice is one of the four core literacy of geography, and it plays an important role in the process of geography education. However, the cultivation of geographical practice ability is still in the marginal zone in China's current geography teaching. How to effectively cultivate students' geography practice ability in high school geography teaching is an important topic in geography education in high school today. Therefore, this paper is based on the "problem research" module of the high school geography textbook of the People's Education High School to carry out the research on the cultivation of students' geography practice. It is of great significance to enrich the core core literacy system and enhance the students' geographical practice ability.Based on the Marxist view of practice, constructivism and "learning by doing",this paper combines research methods at home and abroad, using literature research methods, questionnaire survey methods, statistical analysis methods, case analysis methods and other research methods, from the textbook "problem research" The module starts to explore strategies for cultivating students' geographical practice ability.First of all, through the literature research, combined with the specific content of the "question research" module of the textbook, the feasibility of its analysis. The characteristics are summarized as comprehensive, diverse, open, independent and pervasive sustainable development;combined with the "problem research" content and The differences in the specific aspects of geographic practice are divided into three categories: analytical, exploratory and operational. The role of the "problem research" module in cultivating students' geographical practice ability is summarized. In order to stimulate students' interest, promote the understanding and application of knowledge and methods,it is conducive to the formation of the will of students.Through the questionnaire survey method and statistical analysis method to understand the status quo of the "problem research" module and the geography practice ability teaching in the high school geography classroom, the main problems in the cultivation of the geography practical ability force in the current "problem research" module teaching process are obtained:Teachers: Some teachers neglect the "problem research" module teaching, have agreater impact on traditional education models, insufficient development of teaching materials, insufficient understanding of geographic practice, and too single teaching methods.Students: utilitarian learning concepts have a greater impact, passive learning, and weak ability to apply theoretical knowledge to practice;Schools and curriculum settings: Schools do not pay attention to the cultivation of geographical practice, imperfect teaching facilities, curriculum tasks and class conflicts. From the analysis of the survey results, the main problems in the teaching process are derived, and the targeted measures to cultivate students' geographical practice are put forward:(1)attach importance to the "problem research" module and enhance its status;(2)rationally arrange the module teaching time;(3)reasonable Develop teaching materials resources;(4)improve teachers' professional quality;(5)pay attention to students' "process and method" experience;(6)improve students' overall quality. Finally, the teaching process is based on different types of "problem research" themes, and three case teaching designs are used to illustrate how to combine the specific "problem research" theme in practical teaching to cultivate students' geographical practice ability.
