The cultivation of junior middle school students’ ability to solve problems is an important goal of modern basic education,and it is also the common pursuit of basic education reform.With the continuous development and improvement of the new curriculum reform,the cultivation of students’ innovative spirit and practical ability has become the main goal of compulsory education,and the practical ability includes the ability to solve problems.Due to the long-term influence of the exam oriented education in our country,we should gradually eliminate the friction between quality education and exam oriented education in the course of implementing the new curriculum reform,and set up a new educational and teaching idea.The ability to solve the problem,as an important part of practical ability,will encourage students to apply theoretical knowledge to solve practical problems.Therefore,according to the geography of junior high school students problem solving ability,according to the survey of junior high school students geographical problem solving ability as the foundation,First find out the students’ shortcomings,and then put forward for strategy of cultivating students’ problem solving ability,in order to combine the theoretical knowledge and practical ability better for students.In this study,the compulsory education geography curriculum standard as the basis,the actual situation and essential characteristics of the students’ geographical problems to solve geographic problems based on the reference of the cognitive theory,constructivist learning theory,problem consciousness,the zone of proximal development theory and other related theories,using literature research method,questionnaire survey method,case analysis method and statistical analysis method,trying to construct the theoretical framework and practical scheme of cultivating junior high school students’ problem solving ability of geography.The full text can be summarized as the following four parts:The first part:Based on the background of the times and the background of the curriculum reform of basic education,the purpose and significance of the research are described.On the basis of referring to the related works and literatures,this paper analyzes and comments on the present situation of the research on the problem solving ability at home and abroad,and puts forward the research ideas and research methods.The second part:Based on the geography of the meaning and types,characteristics,value and geographical problem-solving ability of the meaning,elements,characteristics,the importance of the related elaboration,Then it analyzes the theoretical basis of this study.The third part:In this paper,the author makes a questionnaire survey and interviews with the teachers for students of grade seven and grade eight in the eleventh middle school of Guilin in Guangxi,The purpose of this study is to understand the current situation of junior middle school students’ problem solving ability,to find out the influencing factors of cultivating junior high school students’ problem solving ability of geography.Then the general situation of students’ survey analysis,find out the existing student geography problem solving ability training process,according to the problems and put forward some strategies to solve the problems through the analysis and evaluation of the proposed strategies and case effect on the rationality and feasibility.The fourth part:Summarizes the research of this paper,puts forward the relevant suggestions,and makes a reflection and prospect.lt also points out the innovation and deficiency of the research.In conclusion.Through the preliminary discussion on the cultivation of junior middle school students’ ability to solve the problem,it is found that the results of the study can provide reference value for junior middle school students to grasp and use the geographical concepts,principles and laws to solve the geographical problems.However,due to the limited level of the author,the scope of this study is not wide.Therefore,the shortcomings of the survey findings need to be further studied. |
