As an important part of the postgraduate training mechanism,the graduate award system plays an important role in promoting the development of graduate education.Graduate students as the direct beneficiaries of the award system,should be the main body of the award system and all the award work should fully reflect their will and to implement in practice,so as to meet their needs to the greatest extent and encourage them to study hard and devote themselves to scientific research.Therefore,from the perspective of self-management,this paper tries to make use of the self-management of graduate students in the award system to play their main role,put their ideas and needs on the award system into practice and finally complete the reform of the award system,and help the implementation of the award system in place.The paper mainly studies from four parts: the first part is the introduction part,which mainly gives a brief overview of the background,purpose,significance,current situation,content and methods of the study.The second part is about self-management and graduate award system,through literature analysis,this paper defines the concepts and connotations of self-management and graduate award system,expounds the significance of self-management for graduate award system,and then discusses the feasibility and necessity of graduate award system based on self-management so as to build a complete theoretical framework.The third part is the investigation of the present situation of the graduate award system from the perspective of selfmanagement,taking the full-time master's degree students in three representative universities in Jiangxi Province as the object of investigation,using a questionnaire survey to collect data based on the research status of self-management graduate award system and using SPSS 23.0 software to analyze the questionnaire data and supplemented by interviews to draw relevant conclusions,then through the analysis of the problems and causes,it provides the basis for the improvement and innovation of the later award system.The fourth part is the innovation of the award system of self management perspective,according to the problems and reasons in the current situation investigation,this paper puts forward corresponding countermeasures from four aspects: the consciousness of schools,managers and graduate cadres,school system,graduate students' ability and managers' guidance to complete the innovation of the award system.The following conclusions can be drawn from the study: Firstly,the school's emphasis on the main body status of graduate students in the award system can reflect whether the award system reflects the will of graduate students,and directly affects the effect of the implementation of the award system.Secondly,the current graduate award system in colleges and universities generally exists the situation of insufficient self-management of graduate students,the specific manifestation is that the related system is imperfect,which makes the activities of graduate students in the award system lack of norms;the graduate students' inadequate ability leads to the poor implementation of the award system;the graduate students are restricted by the superior managers and influenced by graduate cadres in the process of carrying out the award work;the main body status of graduate students in the award system is not taken seriously.Thirdly,in order to ensure the effective implementation of the award system,we should promote the realization of graduate students' self-management in the award system,which requires not only multi-attention,but also multi-linkage,and the joint efforts of students,managers and schools.
