Social Work Intervention Research On Improving The Service Ability Of Community Social Organizations

At present,the single system governance model has been unable to effectively deal with trivial and complex community affairs.The public services provided by the government are also difficult to meet the increasingly diverse material and spiritual cultural needs of the people.Community social organizations close to residents have become an important carrier for the realization of self-governance of community residents.They can meet the multiple spiritual and cultural needs of community residents and are also an important way to achieve community modernization governance.However,due to the limitations of internal and external reasons,community social organizations in the initial stage have many problems in improving self-ability,providing public services,and promoting community development.This paper analyzes the problems existing in community social organization service capabilities,and then discusses how social workers use social work methods to enhance community social organization service capabilities.Through practical research,the experience is summarized and social workers are provided with certain reference.First of all this paper takes Xiamen City F Community Volunteer Federation as a case study,and conducts a qualitative study on social work involvement in community service organization social service improvement on the basis of participatory observation method and unstructured interview.The author summed up the establishment background,personnel composition,funding sources and venues,and daily service activities of F community volunteer associations through participation in observation and unstructured interviews,and summarized the issues affecting the improvement of service capabilities of the F community volunteer associations:Lack of rules and regulations,lack of capacity for organization members to carry out activities,and lack of funding for activities;lack of clear planning and goals for organizational development:;and imperfect incentive mechanisms.Secondly,we analyze and evaluate the internal and external resources of community social organizations under the guidance of an advantageous perspective.And we use resource link technology,group work methods,and community work methods as the action strategies,intervening the organization's standardized construction,funding support capacity building and membership development.The three aspects of the promotion of activity capacity were intervened to enhance the service capabilities of community social organizations.Finally,the following conclusions are drawn from the intervention of social work for community social organizations to improve their service capabilities:The effective integration of the internal strengths of community social organizations with external resources can stimulate the vitality of community organizations and promote the service capacity of community organizations in the community.The intervention of social work methods under the guidance of an advantage perspective is a feasible way to promote the promotion of community social organization service capabilities.The social work under the advantage angle emphasizes the equality and cooperation between the social worker and the service object,which helps to stimulate the subjective initiative of the community social organization members and enhance their enthusiasm for participating in community volunteer service activities.
