With the rapid development of society,the role of chemical technology in our production and life is increasingly prominent,and technical literacy has become one of the essential qualities of modern people.However,the current chemistry education in China attaches more importance to theory than technology.Therefore,it is particularly important to find a suitable teaching mode to adapt to the development of technical education,so as to promote the improvement of students' core chemistry literacy.The project based learning takes a specific project as the carrier,and students complete projects and solve problems through diversified learning activities.Implementation of project based learning in high school chemistry technology education,which can help students realize the similarities and differences between theoretical knowledge and production technology in the process of participating in the project,to master a certain technical knowledge and technical ability,and the actual production to consider such as the cost,environment,process control and other technical factors,finally cultivate students' ability to collect and process information ability,problemsolving ability,social participation and technological literacy of studentsThis paper firstly reviews the development process of project based learning and the development of chemical technology education,and on this basis,the application mode of project learning in high school chemical technology education is constructed,which includes six links: selecting projects,making plans,exploring works,making achievements,exchanging activities,and evaluating.It also discusses the implementation strategies of project based learning in chemical technology education from selection of projects,clear objectives,problem-driven,value evaluation.In order to verify the feasibility of the theoretical design,this paper designed a steel corrosion protection project,and guided the students to first carry out the corrosion protection technology scheme of iron products in the laboratory and carry out experimental verification,and then went into the iron industry in jinan city to investigate the corrosion status and corrosion protection measures of steel in various industries.Each project team presented the project planning process and project products,which were evaluated by teachers and other team members.At last,through the questionnaire survey and interview,it is found that students have an in-depth understanding of chemical technology,and at the same time,students' ability to collect information,study independently,investigate,cooperate,communicate and solve problems have also been improved.
