| Maker Education is an innovative creative education which generated by the development of today’s society and makers movement.Under the integration of maker education and information technology,innovative education has been further developed,and more educators have begun to pay attention to maker education and STEM education.This research combines the two kinds of education,to enhance the students’ creative creativity and STEM comprehensive literacy in the learning process.With the continuous popularization and application of digital technology and various open source software and hardware,maker space has risen rapidly in China,so that some primary and secondary schools and colleges have begun to build maker space and open Maker-related courses.But Maker Education has not been well promoted and actually developed.For traditional education,because of the lack of methods and models that can be used for reference,the teaching effect is not good.Moreover,for educators,the knowledge of maker education and STEM education lacks in-depth exploration and mastery,such as origin,development,basic connotation,teaching philosophy,value and so on.This research uses literature research method,education design research,questionnaire method,experimental research method,interview method and data statistics and analysis method.First of all,the related literatures are analyzed and summarized.And the domestic and international research status of Maker Education,STEM Education and Instructional Design Model are summarized,also had a deeply interpretation.And their concepts are defined.The constructivist learning theory,the innovative education theory and learning by doing theory are taken as the theoretical basis.After the process of design,modification and redesign,instructional design model of primary school Maker based Education based on STEM Education was constructed.Secondly,this research applies the instructional design model to Shangdong Primary School for teaching practice.Before the practice,students’ Scratch level ability test and information technology classroom status survey were conducted.After the end,satisfaction survey was conducted,and students and subject teachers were interviewed to evaluate student satisfaction and teaching effect.Finally,through the analysis of the questionnaire data processing and students’ work,and teachers’ interviews,it is concluded that the teaching practice has a significant teaching effect,which plays a positive role in the students’ STEM comprehensive literacy,innovative thinking and ability cultivation. |
