The continuous development of the times has put forward higher requirements for all walks of life,and the country needs more innovative talents.In the field of education,it pays more attention to training students’ innovative ability and practical ability.In recent years,with the emergence of 3D printing technology,Scratch programming,Raspberry Pi and other words,the maker movement represented by these new words has quickly flooded into people’s horizons.The impact of the collision between the maker movement and education has aroused widespread attention from educators in China.Maker education’s concept of "innovation,practice,sharing,and exchange" not only helps to deepen the current state’s Curriculum reforms are also conducive to cultivating innovative talents more adapted to future life.In recent years,research on maker education has been continuously enriched,and more and more educational scholars are focusing on the integration of maker education and subject teaching.At present,they mainly focus on information technology,science,physics,chemistry,and other practical subjects.But the research of introducing maker education idea into mathematics teaching is relatively lacking.First,after consulting relevant literature on maker education at home and abroad,and understanding and studying existing maker education research,this study summarizes the shortcomings of the current research,and proposes the main content and framework of this research.Secondly,I investigated the current situation of mathematics teaching in primary schools,and found the problems in current teaching.Based on the teaching advantages of primary school mathematics teaching combined with the maker education concept,I took Dewey’s "learning by doing",constructivist learning theory and multiple intelligence theory as guidance,based on the design principles,we explored the teaching goals,teaching content,teaching resources,teaching modes,and teaching evaluations that are in line with the maker education philosophy.Finally,the teaching design is based on the constructed teaching mode and the advanced concepts of maker education.After the teaching design is completed,it is used in teaching to verify the feasibility of primary school mathematical teaching design based on maker education and observe the teaching effect.After applying it in practical teaching,we found that primary school mathematics teaching based on maker education can inspire students not to be afraid of failure,to try boldly,to be brave to share,to improve students ’learning interest,and to cultivate students’ creative ability,hands-on operation ability,cooperation ability and practical ability also has some positive effects.
