In 2006,the traditional music of Mudong Mountain Song in Banan District of Chongqing was listed in the first national intangible cultural heritage list because of its great social and artistic value.As an important educational place,schools play a vital role in the inheritance and development of traditional music.Integrating traditional music into classroom teaching is an important part of school music education and an effective means to promote the development of music education.In order to objectively reveal the current situation and existing problems of Mudong Folk Songs’ integration into music education in middle schools,and put forward corresponding solutions,this paper takes three middle schools in Banan District as samples to carry out investigation and research.Through data analysis,the paper finds out the problems existing in the integration of Mudong Mountain Songs into music education in middle schools at this stage,and deeply analyses them,and puts forward solutions,aiming at making a better contribution to the inheritance and development of Mudong Mountain Songs.This paper includes three parts: introduction,body and conclusion.In the first chapter,the introduction part elaborates the background and significance of this study,the current research situation and research methods,in order to better understand this paper.The second chapter mainly introduces the origin and development of Mudong Mountain Song.The third chapter is about the exploration and practice of inheritance and development of Mudong folk songs.Chapter IV focuses on the survey,mainly through questionnaires,interviews and on-the-spot surveys to investigate the status of Mudong folk songs integrated into music education in secondary schools in Banan District,and to sort out,summarize andanalyze the results of the survey.The fifth chapter is about the path to solve,based on the problems reflected in the investigation of the status quo of the integration of Mudong Folk Songs into the music education of middle schools in Banan District in the third and fourth chapters.Because these problems can reflect to some extent the common problems in the integration of Mudong Mountain Songs into music education in middle schools,this paper,starting from this point,mainly from the three dimensions of government,school and society,explores and studies the path of integration of Mudong Mountain Songs into music education in middle schools in Banan District.The conclusion is a further summary and elaboration of the results of this study.
