In contemporary society,the application of network information technology in education has made information dissemination more accurate and rapid.Network information technology has become an important means of education reform and development.The United States is a country with a relatively mature network information technology development,and has applied it widely in education.The application of network information technology in university education and teaching has promoted the change of university teaching modes,improved the quality of teaching,while it brought impact and challenges to traditional teaching.Based on the background of educational informationization,this research started from the basic theory of education,studied the development of network information technology in the United States and its influence on university teaching.Based on the new era,this paper explored how network information technology influences and challenges American university teaching,and the successful experience of applying network information technology in American university teaching;based on the perspective of cross-country comparison,according to the current situation of application of network information technology in university teaching in China,this research analyzed the enlightenment and suggestions of how to apply network information technology in university teaching in China.The main contents of this thesis are: Introduction,which included the background of the topic selection,the research significance and the purpose,the definition of fundamental concepts,the research summary and methods;the First chapter studies the development of network information technology in the United States,and divides network information technology into computer-assisted teaching,public education resource movement and technology in the application stage of American universities according to the development of network information technology and the degree of integration with education.The three stages of integration with teaching depth,expounding the main forms of application of network information technology in American university teaching;The second chapter is the research on the influence and characteristics of network information technology on American university teaching.It also analyzes the case study of MIT in the United States and studies the application and main features of network information technology in MIT teaching.The three chapters are the research on the problems and challenges of applying network information technology in American university teaching.The research finds that the application of network information technology in American university teaching has application effectiveness,infrastructure differences and information literacy of teachers and students.The level is uneven and so on;and it brings challenges in the aspects of education and teaching concepts,teaching and learning models,and the construction of teaching staff;The fourth chapter is about the application of network information technology in American university teaching and its enlightenment to China.Research,and for the study of the full text,put forward five suggestions for the application of network information technology in university teaching in China.
