Focusing on the current social status of urban primary school teachers,this paper tries to use reasonable research methods to explore the fact of urban primary school teachers’ social status.Combining with Bourdieu’s cultural capital theory,this paper provides a reference for the rational construction of the dimensions of urban primary school teachers’ social status,further improving teachers’ social status effectively and making teachers’ profession an enviable profession.On the basis of full literature review,using self-compiled questionnaires and interviews,this paper explores the dimension composition and current situation of the social status of urban primary school teachers.Combining with Bourdieu’s cultural capital theory,it makes a one-to-one correspondence analysis of questionnaire data,interview records and economic capital,cultural capital and social capital according to Bourdieu’s division,and finally obtains: urban primary school teaching The existence of economic capital,cultural capital and social capital of teachers influences and influences each other in ways and results.The innovation of this paper lies in putting forward specific ways to improve the social status of urban primary school teachers,that is,at the micro level,it is necessary to improve teachers’ personal rational beliefs,and the core of improving teachers’ social status is to improve teachers’ personal rational beliefs.On the medium level,the strategy of improving teachers’ cultural capital is mainly centered on improving teachers’ cultural capital.At the macro level,the strategies of improving teachers’ economic capital and social capital are mainly focused on improving teachers’ economic capital and social capital.This paper is divided into five parts to discuss the social status of urban primary school teachers.The first part is the frontier,introducing some preparatory work of this paper.The second part is to define the object of study and research methods.The third part is the integration and analysis of the questionnaire results and interviews.The fourth part combines the theory of cultural capital to analyze the social status of urban primary school teachers.The fifth part is the strategies to improve the social status of urban primary school teachers.This paper will mainly use Bourdieu’s theory of cultural capital,combined with the data obtained by questionnaires and interviews,to analyze and study the social status of urban primary school teachers.
