| Musical textbooks-the teaching material reflecting the content of the musical subjects,is the indispensable factor in school music education.Serving as the important medium between teaching and learning,a textbook and its quality will have direct impacts on the efficiency of teaching.How to improve the musical textbooks is therefore one of the most significant tasks of music education.Also,the modern-day school music education has the tendency of using international experiences for reference.With that in mind,in order to advance with times and reach the high international levels,and to facilitate the reform of school music education,this paper choses the Japanese musical textbook for junior high school published by “Education Arts Press” – the most widely used musical textbook in Japan – as study object.By analyzing its structural design and material contents,and by discussing its compiling characteristics,this paper strives to be able to contribute to the building up of the junior high school music education in China.This paper is constituted by four sections.The first section involves introduction to the topic,stating the basic purpose,general meaning and the study methods of this paper.In the second section,several points are illustrated concerning the textbook’s compiling backgrounds,revising key points,goals of each study year,and introduction to its different versions.In the third section the author studies the textbook in a systematic way,which is achieved by analyzing mainly the textbook’s structural design,material contents and presenting manners.Finally,the fourth section summarizes the compiling characteristics of the Japanese junior high school music textbook published by “Education Arts Press” and discusses the revelation to the building up of the junior high school music education in China. |
