Mathematical operation ability is the most basic ability in the process of mathematics learning,and it is also the most important factor in determining students' other mathematics abilities and test scores.There are most knowledge points about mathematical operation in the seventh grade,and it is the golden time for the formation and cultivation of mathematics operation ability for the students in junior high schools.With the advent of the information age,the convenience of technology has led to a gradual decline in the requirements for operation ability.It is the common feeling for the frontline teachers that the operation ability of junior high school students is not as good as the students before,such as the weakening of students' understanding ability,not enough attention being paid to the operation ability of the students,the operation errors often being attributed to carelessness,and same mistakes still being made after the correction of the wrong operations.Many teachers have not achieved obvious results in the teaching practice of trying to cultivate the mathematics operation ability of junior high school students.Based on the above background,the main problems of this thesis are proposed as below.First of all,what is the status quo of the operation ability of the junior high school students?(Taking the seventh grade mathematical operation as an example,what are the students' error-prone points?)Second,what are the reasons for students to make error-prone points? Third,how to cultivate the operation ability of the seventh grade students?(What are the specific teaching strategies?)Fourth,what is the effect of the implementation of the diagnostic and corrective teaching practice for the seventh grade students?In order to solve the problems mentioned above,a study was conducted on the seventh grade students at a public junior high school in Northwestern Shanghai.By consulting the literature and checking the relevant studies on operation ability at home and abroad,the test results were analyzed,the status quo of junior high school students' operation ability were investigated by interviewing the seventh grade students,learning about the reasons for the students' mathematical operation error-prone points,and conducting questionnaire surveys on the self-cognition of the junior high school students' mathematical operation error-prone points,and finally the error-prone points diagnosis and correction teaching strategies were proposed and action research was carried out.Through research,it can be found that the operation ability of the seventh grade students are weak in the operation of integer,factorization,fraction,equation and real numbers,and the main reasons for the students' mathematical operation error-prone points are as below.First of all,the students cannot remember the concepts,formulas,and rules very well.Second,the students tend to make significant mistakes in the symbolic problems.Third,the students have poor habit of operation.Fourth,the students have poor ability to examine questions.Fifth,the students tend to use single method.Sixth,it is difficult for the students to understand abstract algebraic thinking.Seventh,the students are rarely aware of reflection and summarization.In order to solve these problems,the author proposed and practiced the error-prone diagnosis and correction teaching strategies.First of all,more attention should be paid to the diagnostic teaching both during class and after class.Second,intervention and practice,corrective teaching should be emphasized.Third,wrong operatons should be archived to strengthen reflection and summary for the students.Fourth,diversified evaluation should be conducted to improve students' learning enthusiasm.The implementation of error-prone points diagnosis and correction teaching has enabled the students to enjoy studying and stay healthy and positive,so as to improve the students' operation ability and cultivate the students' learning habits.
