| Online games have been in people’s view for more than 20 years.With the development and growth of online games,online game commentators came into being.In recent years,due to the vigorous development of online live broadcasting platform and electronic sports industry,the number of online game commentators has gradually increased,and they are facing more and more audiences.In 2017,the audience of the electronic sports competition exceeded 385 million people,and more than 30%of the audience were Chinese[1].This means that the communication ability of e-sports commentators in China is no less than that of traditional sports commentators.However,as a new profession,online game commentary has not yet a perfect industry system,the ability of commentators is uneven,the whole industry is in the groping forward.But it can be predicted that more and more people will be involved in this industry in the future,which means the communication model and effect of online game commentators need urgent attention.Therefore,the author chose to stand in the perspective of communication to study online game commentators in China.Through analysis and summary,the author divides online game commentators into three categories:e-sports commentators,online platform game anchors and online game video commentators,and introduces their communication characteristics,content and mode respectively.In the research of communication effect,this paper focuses on the commentators of E-sports live broadcasting,adopts empirical research method to analyze the relevant influencing factors,and it is found that the professionalism of interpretation,the overall image of interpretation,the strength of the relationship between interpretation and audience,the quality of communication channels,the characteristics of information itself,the attention paid to the competition itself and the experience of the recipient are positively related to the communication effect of interpretation.After that,the evaluation index system of the dissemination effect of commentary in E-sports competition is established preliminarily by using Delphi method and Entropy Weight Method.The electronic sports industry has not reached the ceiling,and the audience size will continue to expand.In the future,the dissemination ability of electronic sports commentary will become stronger and stronger.How to improve its dissemination effect is a concern of every commentary.The author hopes that this study can be a reference for the practitioners of electronic contest commentary,and also play a role in attracting valuable information for future related research. |
