Children's understanding of “good friends” influences how they view themselves,treat others and get along with others.To learn the understanding of middle and senior class children on “good friends”is conducive to to teachers and parents to better carry out reasonable education.This paper studies the comprehensive literature method,interview method,observation method,mainly from the concept,importance,activity,intimacy and conflict of good friends in the eyes of 111 middle and senior class children in Nanchang city,and puts forward Suggestions for promoting the social development of children from the perspective of children's understanding of “good friends”.The research found that:(1)children in the middle class understand the connotation of a good friend is relatively simple,superficial,mainly think that a good friend is a "game partner" and "specific object or group";Children in senior class understand more deeply and internalize,they think that good friends are people who "share and help each other" and "love and intimacy".In the understanding of the characteristics of good friends,middle class children focus on the appearance,clothing and other external characteristics to understand;Senior class children are more focused on the personality,social and other internal characteristics.(2)middle and senior class children generally believe that good friends are important,but their reasons have different focuses,middle class children focus on common games,and senior class children focus on spiritual satisfaction.(3)in terms of the motivation of activities with good friends,middle class children are more willing to follow their hearts to choose good friends,while senior class children pay less attention to motivation and more attention to process.In terms of activity reasons,middle class children focus on material gains and common interests,while senior class children focus more on spiritual satisfaction and relieving loneliness.In the exclusiveness of activities,middle class children like to play with fixed objects;Big class child puts forward the condition of admittance or not.(4)In the dimension of intimacy,there is no significant difference between middle and senior class children.Out of emotional trust,children and good friends have unconditional trust in each other;In the sharing of good friends,the number of people who choose to share materials,secrets and both are equal.(5)conflicts between children and their good friends are caused by different opinions,physical conflicts and object conflicts;After the conflict,middle class children usually adopt the neutral strategy of help-seeking.Elder class children adopt positive strategies such as problem solving strategies;On the whole,the friendship between children and good friends is stable and positive.Based on the above research,the following Suggestions are put forward:(1)carry out education based on children's understanding of the psychological characteristics of good friends;(2)deepen children's understanding of good friends based on daily life;(3)provide game opportunities to create conditions for children to independently choose friends;(4)teaching children communication skills and methods based on specific situations;(5)according to the differences in children's conflict management methods in middle and large classes,adults should intervene appropriately.
