Research On The Discipline Construction Of Ethnology In Universities For Nationalities In The New Era

Ethnic universities are general institutes of higher learning that established by the communist party of China and the Chinese government in purpose of solving domestic ethnic problems and training specialized professionals of ethnic minorities.Ethnology is a characteristic and distinctive discipline in ethnic universities.It plays a special role in the development of ethnic universities.Since the founding of New China,ethnology in ethnic institutes has experienced a tortuous process from its establishment,development to prosperity,and has gained remarkable achievements.The achievements contains promoting of discipline teams,abundance of increasing scientific research results,improving of personnel training,strengthening the ability to serve the society and increasing expanding of international exchanges and cooperation.As socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era,the Party and state have attached great importance to higher education and ethnic work,as well as the belt and road initiative and double first-class construction have been deepened,these important factors bring both great opportunity and higher requirement to the construction of ethnology discipline in ethnic universities.Facing the new opportunities and challenges,whether ethnic colleges and universities can improve and build ethnology into a first-class discipline in China or even in the world is related to whether they can maintain their discipline advantages andcharacteristics,as well as related to the survival and development of them.How to improve the level of ethical discipline and forge ahead towards the goal of first-class discipline is an important issue.After years of development,ethnology in Guangxi University for Nationalities has made outstanding achievements in teachers' team building,teaching reforming and personnel training,scientific research,academic exchanges,discipline conditions and social services.However,there exist some problems such as weak ability to train top-notch innovative talents,insufficient number of high-level leading talents,limited number of landmark scientific research achievements,lacking of national scientific research innovation platforms,and being short of enhancing social service capabilities.In the new era,constructors of ethnology disciplines in ethnic universities should seize the opportunity and meet the challenges.They need to work hard on making scientific discipline development plans,clarifying further developing goal and ideas,emphasizing on construction of first-class teachers' team,improving scientific research level,training top-notch innovative talents vigorously,improving social service capabilities comprehensively,and expanding foreign exchanges and cooperation.By making these efforts,ethnic colleges and universities can strive to build first-class disciplines in ethnology,enhance the characteristics and advantages of ethnic universities continuously,and make new contributions to the construction of Chinese national community consciousness and the realization of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
