Purpose:The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of 12-week arch function training combined with running gait retraining on the arch morphology and its ability to transform into dynamic control in functional tasks. At the same time,it also provides an idea for the evaluation of the internal muscles of the arch. Methods:In this study,26 patients with no obvious lower extremity injuries in the past six months were selected. In the past four weeks, the running distance was more than 20 kilometers per week. The male runners who used to wear cushioning running shoes and had never had foot arch related training.According to the random table,26 people were divided into two groups, namely, the intervention experiment group and the control group,13 people in each group. The experimental group was given a 12-week arch function training and running posture conversion training. The control group did not carry out special intervention training. But maintain the original training program. The shape of the arch was measured repeatedly before and after the intervention, and the performance of the arch was evaluated. The study used repeated measures analysis of variance to explore the effect of arch intervention training on each variable parameter. The significance level was set to ?=0.05.Results:1)For the arch shape, after the arch intervention training, the height of the scaphoid height of the experimental group was significantly increased under static standing posture(p<0.05).There were no significant differences between the control group and other morphological indicators.2)For the function of the foot, after the arch intervention training, the longitudinal jump height of the experimental group was significantly increased(p<0.05).In the Y-balance Test, the dominant leg was used as the support leg.The stretching distance of the contralateral leg in the left front and the rear direction was significantly increased(p<0.05),while the control group showed only a significant difference in the positive direction. In the toe pull test, there was a significant increase in the pull of the first toe and the pull of the remaining four toes in the experimental group(p<0.05),while there was no significant difference in the control group. At the same time, before and after the intervention training, the experimental group had a significant increase in joint strength in the metatarsophalangeal joint strength test(p<0.05)?while the control group had no significant difference. Conclusion:The interventional training method of the arch function training combined with the running posture conversion training in this study caused the morphological changes of the arch and the changes in the performance of the foot function, indicating that the intervention training program used in this study can improve the arch of the foot to some extent. The morphological structure, and its ability to transform into dynamic control in functional tasks, has greatly improved, thus gaining in the performance of foot motor function, preventing the occurrence of arch injury and reducing the incidence of arch injury.
