In the new round of basic education curriculum reform,promoting the universal application of information technology in the teaching process,promoting the integration of information technology and subject curriculum,and maximizing the effectiveness of information technology in education and teaching are called for the ministry of education.With the rapid development of new media based on Internet technology,we enter a new media era,which break the restrictions of time and space,while the ways and means of information resources acquisition or transmission become more and more flexible and convenient.Therefore,the application of new media in education and teaching will become a new trend of in the future education development.In the process of history teaching in senior high school,the application of new media teaching meets the basic requirements of basic education curriculum reform and the characteristics of history curriculum in senior high school.It is conducive to propelling the innovation and development of educational concepts and methods,promoting the reform and innovation of teaching and learning methods,and expanding the ways and channels of education resources acquisition and transmission.As a history educator in middle school,we should actively promote the reform and innovation of the teaching and learning methods in the history classroom with the development perspective,and strive to explore the strategies and ways of applying new media in senior high school history teaching.Guided by the the Basic Education Curriculum Reform(Trial),the author studies the current situation and existing problems of the application of new media in in senior high schools history teaching with the methods of literature research,observation,interview and questionnaire,and gives solutions to these problems.In addition,puts forward a new way for the application of new media in senior high schools history teaching by displaying a practical teaching case.This paper is divided into four parts besides the introduction.Firstly,the author defines the concept of new media,explains the classification and characteristics ofnew media systematically and analyses the practical significance of applying new media in senior high school history teaching.Secondly,taking teachers and students of C middle school in Longnan city as the research subjects,the author makes a detailed investigation on the current situation and existing problems of the application of new media in the high school history classroom teaching with interviews,questionnaires and historical classroom observations,and makes a careful analysis and summary of the original materials,and finds out the existing problems in the practice of new media teaching.Next,the author summarizes the available new media resources and forms in the current senior high school history teaching,establishes the principles of the new media should follow in the application in senior high school history teaching,and puts forward the strategies according to the results of questionnaire and the problems existing in lecture attendance.Finally,the author proves the validity of the solutions and strategies proposed by the author with practical teaching cases,and draws the conclusion that the teaching project is feasible in senior high school history teaching.
