Procrastination is a common phenomenon in daily life.Procrastination is more common among students.Procrastination not only reduces learning and work efficiency, but also has a serious impact on people’ s learning and work achievement,450 junior middle school students of Korean nationality in Yanji were selected as the object of study, and the perception of teachers’ expectation and academic self-efficacy were used as the visual angle.Using the methods of questionnaire survey and interview, this paper discusses the problems existing in academic procrastination of Korean junior high school students and draws the following conclusions:(1)the situation of Korean junior high school students’ academic procrastination is relatively serious, and the students in the second and third years of junior high school have serious problems of academic procrastination, which is mainly due to the tension between teachers and students and the deliberate confrontation between the students and the teachers. Therefore, academic procrastination occurs;(2)students think that their academic achievement is poor, their academic tasks are more difficult than their own ability and they will not ask for help from others, and they do not believe that they can complete their learning tasks and choose to escape, which leads to academic procrastination;(3)Korean junior high school students perceived that teachers’expectations were middle and high, but perceived teachers’ expectations were unreasonable or unsuitable for students. There is a negative correlation between perceived teachers’ expectations and learning procrastination.Meanwhile, teachers have bad differences in the transmission of students’ expectations, and then increase the students’academic procrastination behavior;(4)the academic self-efficacy level of Korean junior high school students is general, but the academic self-efficacy of junior high school students in the second and third year of junior high school is on the low side. There is a negative correlation between academic self-efficacy and learning procrastination, that is,low academic self-efficacy has a negative impact on academic procrastination and increases students’academic procrastination behavior;(5)the perceived teacher expectations and academic self-efficacy of Korean junior high school students have a significant negative impact on academic procrastination.Korean junior high school students’ sense of academic self-efficacy can play a partial intermediary role between teacher expectation and academic procrastination.Accordingly, the following recommendations are made:(1)Teachers should give students warm and sincere listening and attention, establish a relaxed and friendly relationship between teachers and students,so as to help students out of academic procrastination;(2)Teachers should develop students’ self-regulating academic ability, stimulate learning initiative, enhance self-confidence,and then overcome academic procrastination by setting a good example for students and making them learn to ask for help.(3)the teachers pay close attention to each student, look at the change of students’ behavior from the perspective of development, put forward the reasonable expectations of students’ development, reduce the difference of treatment, raise the teachers’ expectations of students’perception, and effectively alleviate the students’ procrastination in learning;(4)Teachers should do their best to provide students with the opportunity to gain successful experience and positive speech guidance,so as to enhance their sense of academic self-efficacy and then overcome academic procrastination;(5)Teachers should establish democratic educational outlook, care students sincerely, strictly require students, treat students fairly, and be students’ life mentors,so as to enhance students’ positive perception of teachers’ expectations. It helps students to reasonably attribute their learning behaviors and abilities and solve their practical problems so as to enhance their sense of academic self-efficacy and finally overcome the academic procrastination through the joint promotion of the two.
