A Reasonable Path Of Destigmatization Among People Living With AIDS

Different from the previous studies on the villages with HIV infection caused by large-scale blood sale in central China,this study mainly focused on the common villagers in the villages of YC and LF region,which is the most seriously affected by AIDS in Shanxi Province.In the existing AIDS research and various stigmatization studies,most of the research is carried out from the perspective of people living with HIV / AIDS.This article mainly carries on the research from the villagers around the HIV / AIDS infection at the same time with some AIDS infected person's interview,further discusses whether the individual can get rid of the restriction of the "structure" by "action" ? People living with HIV / AIDS face "stigma" How do you react to special situations in different social situations? Is "stigmatization" all negative,and how is it constructed? Can the negative consequences of identity disclosure be alleviated? Why is "decontamination nominalization" possible?This study firstly analyzes the stigma of HIV / AIDS patients under Giddens' "structured Theory",and tries to explain how the stigma of HIV / AIDS patients is constructed by structure-action.Secondly,from the perspective of the main body of the ordinary villagers living in AIDS villages,this study tries to understand the communication mechanism between AIDS infected people and ordinary villagers in their daily lives.Finding out what actions have been taken to get rid of the structural shackles of people living with HIV / AIDS in the face of stigma,the study found that the current HIV / AIDS villages are not even affected by HIV /AIDS.The degree of stigma of HIV / AIDS patients has been greatly reduced,and their stigma tends to be deconstructed.On this basis,this study puts forward a reasonable path todecontamination of HIV infected persons,that is,people living with HIV / AIDS in rural areas should start with human face.In order to improve their personal status and realize decontamination,people living with HIV / AIDS in the city should actively open their identity in a relatively trusted interpersonal circle,and strive to improve their social status so as to realize decontamination.Through this study,we can expand the relevant research fields for HIV / AIDS patients,and enrich the relevant theoretical content of stigma research,and provide theoretical support for the path of "decontamination" of HIV / AIDS patients.Thus,it provides a theoretical reference for other marginal groups of society "decontamination nominalization".
