The mathematics diary is to let students record their own understanding,evaluation,and opinion of each mathematics teaching content by diary,including their true attitude and thought in mathematics activities,which not only focuses on the students’ knowledge and skills,but also pay more attention to students’ thinking and emotion.In view of the current state of mathematics learning in rural high school students,this research attempts to apply mathematics diary to mathematics teaching in rural senior high schools and conduct research on how mathematics diary affect the mathematics learning of rural senior high school students.This thesis discusses the influence of mathematical diary writing on mathematics learning in rural high school students.In this research,three kinds of mathematical journal types are classified according to the four groups according to the value of mathematical diary,namely,the summary type,the heart language evaluation type and the literature perception type diary.What’s more,the present situation of high school students’ mathematics learning in rural areas is investigated(in three aspects: emotional attitude,customary methods and mathematical basis).It is found that the mathematics metacognition and mathematics learning efficacy of rural high school students are generally low,and the mathematics achievement is generally poor.Finally,according to the present situation of students’ learning,the author has specifically formulated guidance on the writing of math diaries including the writing instructions for three types of math diaries,including summary,summary evaluation,and literary perception.A four-month mathematics diary teaching experiments that consists 12 times is conducted on rural high school students.Then,the results of pre-test and post-test of mathematical metacognition and mathematics learning efficacy and the standardized grades and final grades are compared and analyzed,which are same of two test papers.The conclusions are as follows:(1)The mathematics diary can improve the mathematical metacognition of rural senior high school students.(2)The mathematics diary can improve the mathematics learning efficacy of ruralsenior high school students.(3)The math diary can help high school students in rural areas improve their mathematics.Therefore,the mathematics diary is conducive to the mathematics studying of rural high school students,is beneficial to students to understand the history of mathematics and learning mathematics related culture.Besides,it is conducive to the development of students’ own mathematics quality and is a better way of mathematics learning. |
