Research On Social Service Needs Of Migrant Children's Familise

As the flow of migrants slowly shifts from personal mobility to "family-style" mobility,there are more and more migrant children following their parents,inflows,and the needs of the floating population will change.Based on this,this study aims to understand the status of their social service needs through in-depth interviews with 14 migrant children's families in Shanghai.According to Jonathan Bradshaw's needs classification,it needs to be divided into four aspects:normative needs,sensory needs,expressive needs and comparative needs.The different combinations of the four aspects will be divided into 12 categories.Under the guidance of this concept,the social service needs of migrant children's families are analyzed,the main types are determined,and the reasons are analyzed according to the classification,and what can be done by government and social work to meet the needs of migrant children's families.This paper uses qualitative research methods to conduct in-depth interviews with the research subjects to understand the difficulties they encounter in daily life,the social services they need,and the efforts they have made to meet the lack of social services.Analyze,interpret and classify their social service needs.The study found that,first of all,the needs of children are the focus of migrant children's families,leading to the neglect of the needs of other family members;secondly,the lack of utilization of social services by the mobile workers leads to waste of resources.From the perspective of the service subject,the street and the community are important places to meet the needs,the exclusion of the inflows and the distrust of the floating population have a great impact on the satisfaction of the needs,and the subjective initiative of the family is crucial to meet the needs.Through the analysis of the types of needs,the countermeasures are:the government needs to introduce policy measures to guide social organizations to provide the social services needed,and to integrate mobile families into the existing social service system for local people;and social work institutions In addition to providing various professional services according to the needs of the situation,it is necessary to hold a concept that "social workers are not omnipotent" and to solve problems that cannot be solved by other professional capabilities by other professional organizations or individuals,instead of The big package provides services.Here,the social work orgniization should act as a resource linker to explore the rich resources and manpower under“iceberg”in the society,especially in a metropolis like Shanghai.Individuals are connected to achieve the dual purpose of effective use of resources and satisfaction of people's needs.
