Critical thinking is a kind of thinking quality which is based on rational query,stresses evidence,seeks reasonable inference and has a high tendency of reflection.Critical thinking has five characteristics: analysis,strategy,comprehensiveness,independence and correctness.People with critical thinking qualities should be fair,openminded,self-confident,good at self-reflection and other characteristics.To cultivate critical thinking in reading teaching is to cultivate critical thinking as the goal of reading teaching,and to design reading teaching activities closely around this goal.Critical thinking is very important to the development of the future society.In 2014,China put forward the overall plan of "Chinese students' development of core literacy".It holds that critical thinking is the essential core literacy of students.As a Chinese subject,Chinese Curriculum Standard explicitly talks about Chinese teaching,especially reading teaching should pay attention to learning.Critical thinking.As junior high school students,their thinking development has entered the stage of formal operation,their logical analysis ability,abstract thinking ability gradually dominated,and this stage of students like to question,obvious self-awareness,we can say that junior high school stage is the best time to cultivate students' critical thinking.The research on this topic is becoming more and more abundant at present,but it reflects the problems of more theoretical research,less practical research and insufficient attention to "reading teaching".In the actual teaching of Chinese reading,the cultivation of critical thinking presents the status quo of teachers' lack of awareness,teaching without training plan,and teachers' and students' training process without method guidance.This is related to the late rise of critical thinking in China,people's biased cognition of the social environment,but also with the actual teaching concept of teachers and students,classroom teaching,knowledge background and other closely related.In order to cultivate critical thinking in Chinese reading teaching,we should first realize the great significance of batch thinking in terms of concept to adapt to the future society,construct knowledge system,cultivate innovative ability and promote the development of education.Secondly,we should take the classroom reading teaching as the main position and make clear the four classroom characteristics of the reading teaching aiming at the cultivation of critical thinking,that is,the democratic equality between teachers and students,the courage of teachers and students to question,the depth of classroom questioning,and the rationality of classroom dialogue.Focusing on the texts of reading teaching,this paper divides the cultivation of critical thinking into two types,namely,the cultivation of critical thinking based on text content and text form,and combines teaching practice to find three strategies for cultivating critical thinking in reading teaching.It includes question-answering strategy,discussion strategy,selfreflection strategy,and seven specific methods,namely,using exercises to evaluate thinking,contrasting and reading each other,speaking with evidence,raising doubts,breaking the convention,adding,deleting,changing,and combining reading and writing.
