| Social concerns for the disadvantaged groups has never been reduced,exceptional children has always been the key point of the government support.But the family caregivers of exceptional children,whose fate is closely related to the development of exceptional children,are often been left in the basket.Many family caregivers suffer a variety of physical and psychological problems due to the multiple roles in their life.This study uses the narrative therapy as an intervention method,regards a case of family caregivers of exceptional children as the object of intervention.In order to helping client to regain life confidence,the author attempts to change client’s negative identity from three aspects,including role cognition,role experience and role behavior.The primary technologies of this case are the externalization of problems,the seeking of the positive significance and the construction of the valuable life story.The main strategy of this model is the discovery and deconstruction of the old narration,then constructing a new positive narrative logic,and applying the new narrative logic to the action.This study provides a practical reference for the change of negative role identity of family caregivers and the localization of narrative therapy.By presenting and analyzing the process of social work intervention under,it is found that: first of all,by the means of narrative therapy,social workers’ involvement in the improvement of negative role recognition is effective,and the achievement of this service goal has a positive effect on the quality of special children and their family caregivers’ life.Secondly,as an important part of social work practice,the role of supervisor is indispensable.Finally,in order to working better,the use of narrative therapy technology should be adapted to Chinese cultural environment.We should work along both lines: retain the theories and technologies in accordance with Chinese cultural environment and keep localization.Commit ourselves to popularize the narrative therapy in Chinese context. |
