With the continuous development of multimedia technology,people’s learning,work and life styles have changed,and the areas involved are also expanding.Multimedia technology has had a profound impact on education.The application of multimedia technology also extends the teaching of Chinese literacy.Literacy teaching is a basic and important content of Chinese course standard is to read and write teaching put forward clear requirements,the importance of literacy teaching itself also caught the attention of the primary school Chinese teachers,more and more teachers begin to combine multimedia technology and literacy teaching,so that to improve the teaching efficiency of read and write,but because some teachers biased understanding of multimedia technology,which hindered the development of multimedia literacy teaching,and to read and write the teaching efficiency.how to combine the multimedia technology with the teaching of literacy has the necessity of reality,which also enlightens the author to start thinking about this problem,so the author started the research of this thesis.This paper studies the current situation of multimedia application in low-grade literacy teaching in primary schools.The existing problems and reasons are analyzed.Based on the theoretical of pedagogy and psychology,the author put forward some effective strategies.The thesis is divided into the following five parts:The first part is the introduction,this part of the author first introduced the origin of the paper,carried on the literature review,grasp the research status quo.Secondly,the core concepts of literacy teaching,multimedia and junior stage in a primary school are summarized.Finally,the significance of this research is discussed,and the research ideas and methods,as well as key points and difficulties.The second part is the theoretical analysis of the use of multimedia for literacy teaching.Based on the theory of Chinese characters,cognitive development and characteristics of learners learning theory as the theoretical,secondly,the value,content and requirements of the teaching of literacy are clarified,Finally,the principle of the use of low-segment multimedia in primary school is explained.The third part is the current situation investigation and typical case introduction of the multimedia application in the elementary school.In this part,the author gives a brief introduction to the current investigation and analyzes the typical cases in teaching.The present situation of multimedia technology in literacy teaching is summarized.The fourth part is the problems and causes of the multimedia application in the low grade literacy teaching in elementary schools.In this part,the author combines the content analysis of the third part to conclude that there are four problems in application of multimedia in low-grade teaching in elementary schools.Teachers have a partial understanding of multimedia;multimedia teaching lacks pertinence and is not used properly;courseware is time-consuming and inefficient;the use of multimedia teaching means and traditional teaching means want to separate.In this way,the reasons are analyzed from the perspective of teacher’s understanding of multimedia and the weakness of teacher’s modern education technology theory,teachers ignore the function of the rule of Chinese characters.the cases are illustrated.The fifth part is the strategy of effective use of multimedia in low grade literacy teaching in primary schools.In this part,the strategy is put forward based on the analysis of the previous parts,and the following teaching strategies are proposed based on the theoretical basis of the second part.Teachers should change their understanding of multimedia and improve their comprehensive quality;appropriate use of multimedia,strengthen its targeted;multi-channel multimedia teaching and training activities to enhance courseware production capacity;the multimedia teaching method and the traditional teaching method combine effectively.
