Ancient calligraphy and painting is an important part of our country's excellent traditional culture.Symbolism,humanity and nationality are its remarkable characteristics.Ancient calligraphy and painting covers a wealth of cultural knowledge,has the value of intellectual education,moral education and aesthetic education and it can promote the function of Chinese Education.But in today's high school Chinese Education,ancient calligraphy and painting has not been well developed and used.This article is based on classical poetry in high school Chinese textbooks,takes the teaching of ancient poetry as the object of study to explore the methods and value of ancient calligraphy and painting in high school poetry teaching.When I sort out all the versions of ancient Chinese poetry contained in high school language textbooks,I find that the proportion of ancient poetry and prose accounts for a large proportion of the total text.Nearly half of the texts in the textbooks are ancient poems.Therefore,the quality of the ancient Chinese poetry teaching will affects the quality of the overall teaching of Chinese.So,it is necessary for teachers to improve the quality of the teaching of ancient poetry in various ways.By sorting out ancient calligraphy and painting materials related to ancient poetry and prose in compulsory textbooks of the PEP edition,I found that many ancient paintings and calligraphy were actually images of ancient poems.It provides the possibility for the use of ancient calligraphy and painting to the teaching of ancient poetry and prose in high school.According to the standard of Chinese curriculum for ordinary high school(2017),ancient calligraphy and painting is valuable curriculum resources.Combined with the lack of students' interest,low participation,and old teaching content and single teaching methods of teachers,this article tries to apply the ancient calligraphy and painting to the concrete teaching of ancient poetry to promote the teaching of ancient poetry and prose with the value of ancient calligraphy and painting.This paper takes the compulsory textbook of the PEP edition as an example,divides the ancient poems into poems and ancient prose according to the unit distribution of the ancient poems and texts.Ancient prose is divided into philosophical prose,travel notes and biography essays.Selecting one or two texts from all kinds of ancient poetry in the textbooks.Using ancient calligraphy and painting into the selected texts before class or in class,like introduction,explanation,assignment and other links,to study the method and significance of ancient calligraphy and painting applied to senior high school poetry teaching.Finally,it summarizes the significance of ancientcalligraphy and painting applied to high school Chinese teaching,and points out points for attention according to the experience gained in the process of research.This article starts with visual art,combined with the actual situation,students' age characteristics and psychological characteristics of the ancient poetry teaching in senior high school to examine the ancient poetry teaching in high school,explore the ancient painting and calligraphy used in ancient poetry teaching in senior high school,trying to help teachers and students.In terms of research methods,we use the related methods of history,philology and iconography to explore the discipline characteristics.
