Huazhong University Of Science And Technology Park Development Strategy And Path Selection

Under the background of double-innovation,national development has put forward higher requirements for personnel education in colleges and universities.The science and technology park for Huazhong University of Science and Technology(HUST Park)ranks among the top 10 of the national science and technology parks of university,the problems in its development are also common problems faced by other science and technology parks of university in China.Therefore,this article is to report the research on development strategy of science and technology park for HUST,aiming to provide ideas and directions for the transformation and upgrading of services in science and technology parks of university.This paper firstly analyzes the development process and current situation of science and technology parks of university at home and abroad,and exploit comparisons from previous research results to draw the shortcomings of the current development of domestic science and technology parks of university,as a theoretical basis for further research.Then the macro and competitive environment faced by science and technology park for HUST were systematically examined,using Pest macro analysis method and Porter's five forces model,to obtain key factors on the sustainable competitive advantage about internal resources and capabilities of science and technology park for HUST.On this basis,using SWOT analysis tools,the external factors(opportunities and threats)and internal factors(advantages and disadvantages)of science and technology park for HUST were matched and analyzed,and the development strategy of science and technology park for HUST under the background of double-innovation was proposed,Finally,in order to ensure the smooth implementation of the above strategic plan,the implementation of the management framework was also reported.
