As Anthony Giddens said,people living in a modern country never doubt that they are "citizens" of a particular country,and they are all aware of the diverse roles that the country plays in their lives.This position of citizens in a nation-state forms the "citizenship" of the individual on the one hand,and on the other,it causes the individual to form a complex emotional relationship with the state,namely "national identity".Under the background of globalization and the impact of multicultural trend of thought,every national country are confronted with a crisis of identity.In some nation-states or regions where their historical reasons or identification differences exist,the importance and urgency of national identity education are particularly prominent,and Hong Kong in our country is such a representative region.Since the separation of the British colony from the motherland in 1841,the British Hong Kong government has promoted the "colonization" and "depoliticization" education in the Hong Kong region for more than 100 years to meet the needs of colonial rule and political struggle,making Hong Kong history.The emergence of faults or even blanks in education and national conditions education has seriously hampered the recognition of the political and cultural culture of the young people in Hong Kong.As the main force in the construction of the Hong Kong region,The national identity state among Hong Kong adolescent will not only directly affect the stability and development of Hong Kong but also have an important impact on safeguarding national sovereignty and implementing the "one country,two systems" and "basic law".In order to gain insights into the status of the adolescents in Hong Kong,this paper uses anonymous questionnaires to conduct empirical research on more than 200 young people in Hong Kong,Using statistical analysis methods to analyze the survey results and summarizes the national identity of the adolescents in Hong Kong.The results show that the level of national identity among the adolescents in Hong Kong remains low.However,under the influence of a special historical background and realistic conditions,the problem of national identity of the adolescents in Hong Kong has become a long-term and urgent major practical issue that hinders the development of relations between the Mainland and Hong Kong.It is also an important topic of Hong Kong's national education.Therefore,it is necessary to analyze and reflect on the current problems faced by national identity education of Hong Kong adolescents,trying to find current deep influence factors of the national identity education,and explore and construct the feasibile countermeasures of national identity educationamong Hong Kong adolescents from various angles,Embarking on New Path to promote the peaceful and stable development of the country and Hong Kong,and rewrite a New Chapter of "one country two systems" practice in Hong kong.
