Over the years,with the coming of the era of popularization of higher education,the development of universities has gone from building blocks to training masters.The number of teachers increased from 1 million 343 thousand in 2010 to 2016 at the end of 1 million 602 thousand,which increased by 1.2 times.In addition,"strengthening the construction of teachers and teachers' Morality" and "realizing the connotation development of higher education",as pointed out by the government work report of the two conferences of the two meetings in 2018,are more important than the number of teachers in the past,and the importance of teachers' quality has become more and more important to explore the quality of the high-quality teachers who are competent for the goal of "double flow" education.However,it has become a subject to be studied in depth.The study of competency began in the 70 s of last century.It was a study of the individual qualities of the people engaged in a certain profession to adapt to the work and individual development needs.This research is popular in the fields of psychology,education and management.The results of the study can be applied to all aspects of the management of teachers in Colleges and universities.Although the research results of foreign countries have become mature,the introduction of the imported goods to China is short,and the research on the competency model of university teachers still exists in many ways.How to improve the coupling degree between the competency model of university teachers and the functions of human resource management? How to improve competency based on the actual needs of teachers? These problems need to be solved urgently.This study of university teacher competency mainly includes the construction of university teacher competency model,the level of university teacher competency,and the improvement of university teacher competency.First,on the basis of reviewing existing literature,the author summarizes domestic and foreign scholars.For the relevant feature elements of university teacher competency,and through the literature method and two rounds of expert consultations,the existing elements are supplemented and refined,and finally,there are three categories of 30 trait elements including knowledge level,teacher skills,and personal characteristics.A Model of Competency Model for College Teachers.Secondly,Q University was used as the test target,and an empirical study was conducted on the constructed model.It was intended to dig teachers' commonalities while respecting the teacher's personality.It also valued the general competence of all teachers and targetedteachers' personal understanding.The real situation is the analysis of the improvement of college teachers' competency;based on the long-term development needs of teachers,training,especially school-based training.
