At present,the social environment of multiculturalism and the diversity of students' cultural background pose challenges to the development of teachers' quality.It is particularly evident in the ethnic areas of our country.In order to better implement multicultural education and promote the development of education in ethnic minority areas,the cultivation of teachers' multicultural quality has become the core issue of improvement of teachers' quality under multicultural education concept.The development of teachers' multicultural quality in ethnic areas is mainly based on three dimensions: Teachers' multicultural knowledge quality,teachers' multicultural attitude quality and teachers' multicultural skills quality.In order to further explore the multicultural quality of teachers of different cultural identity types,teachers are divided into local teachers and non-local teachers according to their living areas.They are divided into ethnic minority teachers and Han teachers according to their ethnic groups.Different types of cultural identity of Muli County Teachers have been showing some common points and different points in the above three aspects.On the one hand,the common points of different identity types of Muli County Teachers' multicultural quality is reflected in two aspects.First,They have a positive attitude towards multicultural environment,multicultural education and cultural values of all ethnic students.Secondly,in the process of teaching in the face of students with different cultural backgrounds,most of the teachers with different cultural identity types show lack of multicultural teaching skills in various degree.On the other hand,the different points of different identity types of Muli County Teachers' multicultural quality is reflected in two aspects too.First,from the teacher's growth and living region,local teachers who understand the national cultural knowledge,pay attention to the difference of students' cultural background,grasp the bilingual ability,and the ability to learn from each other's family and community better than the non-local teachers.Secondly,from the teacher's national category,some Han teachers have a higher proportion of opinion of the culture of ethnic minorities should be fully integrated into the mainstream culture than ethnic minority teachers.On the whole,teachers' multicultural quality in Muli County shows low trend.The good quality of multicultural teachers has not been formed yet in Muli county.Specifically,The quality of teachers' multicultural in Muli County still exist some problems,such as teachers' deviation cognition on multicultural education,relatively weak teachers' Multicultural Consciousness,Teachers' negative attitude towards cultural differences,teachers insufficient knowledge about national culture and relatively simple teaching methods of teachers.Therefore,Harsh natural environment,unbalanced cultural environment,unified teacher recruitment and evaluation system,multicultural lack of teacher education and low intercultural adaptability of teachers have become the factors of restricting the development of teachers' multicultural quality in ethnic minority areas.Therefore,based on the social pattern of the pluralistic integration of the Chinese nation and the practical needs of Multicultural Education,make full use of the Internet information channel,improve the teachers' preparator training system,pertinently carry out multicultural teachers' training,realize the orientation training of local teachers and strengthen the self-cultivation of teachers' cultural sensitivity.They have become explored path to promote the multicultural qualities of teachers in ethnic areas.
