Chinese classical poetry is the accumulation of Chinese traditional culture,and the treasure of the Chinese nation.Learning classical poetry is beneficial to cultivating students' imagination and creativity,improving students' sentiment,strengthening the cultural background of the students,and promoting students' writing ability.Therefore,the appreciation of classical poetry has always been an important part of Chinese language teaching and also the content of higher vocational college entrance examination.In the higher vocational colleges entrance examination in Guangdong Province,the value of classical poetry is 8-10 points.After analyzing the present situation of the examinee' s classical poetry appreciation examination,the author finds that their ability to appreciate poetry is very weak and the current situation is not optimistic.Their poor performance exposes problems in the teaching of classical poetry appreciation.It is a question worth thinking about by every Chinese educator that how to improve the examinee' s scoring rate,make students master the knowledge of poetry appreciation,clarify the idea of appreciation,master the technique of solving problems,and then truly improve students' ability to appreciate poetry.On the basis of the predecessors' research and her own teaching practice,combining with the current situation of classical poetry appreciation teaching as well,the author analyzes and makes a research on the examination questions of classical poetry appreciation in higher vocational college entrance examination in Guangdong in recent ten years(2008-2017),and tries to explore the way to improve the students' ability to appreciate classical poetry.This article consists of three parts,ie.the introduction,the main part and the conclusion.The introduction is mainly from the three aspects of the background,literature review and research methods of this study.The main part is divided into the following four parts.The firstpart is the analysis of the current situation of classical poetry appreciation examinations,the analysis of students' score and its reasons,so as to understand the students' grasp of the knowledge points in the appreciation of classical poetry.The second part is the analysis of the examination questions of classical poetry appreciation,i.e.the study of the characteristics,forms and contents of the examination questions in order to clarify the relevant content and requirements of poetry appreciation.The third part is the analysis of the technique of poetry appreciation and solving problems.Students clarify the idea of solving the problem on the basis of the content of poetry appreciation,and then master the skills of poetry appreciation and solve problems.The fourth part is the approach to the improvement of the appreciation ability of classical poetry.On the current situation of poetry teaching,this part attempts to find out the problems in the teaching and to explore some practical ways to improve the students' ability to appreciate classical poetry.
