The history of chemistry is the longitudinal development of chemical science.It reveals the origin and development of chemical science.As a history of chemical science,it has both the dual value of science and humanities,and contains rich knowledge of chemical concepts,principles,scientific research methods and scientific spirit.The analysis of Chemical Science in the view of chemical history can enable students to understand chemistry in the true way of science,to give students a complete experience in chemistry,and to fully understand the essence and social value of chemistry.At present,most of the researches on chemistry history education focus on the educational functions of chemistry history,the presentation of chemical history in teaching materials.The research on the development of the teaching resources of chemical history is not sufficient.The history of chemistry is various and different in form.It is hard for teachers to arrange the miscellaneous historical materials in the limited time for preparing lessons.Therefore,most of the teaching of chemistry history is directly presented with primitive historical data,and its functions are generalized and inefficient.What this topic studies is according to the requirements of curriculum standard and teaching objectives,from the educational function,developing a specific history of chemistry,matching chemistry teaching accurately,giving full play to the education value of chemical history.By analyzing existing literature,combining with the need for new curriculum reform,this paper describes the background,purpose,significance,method and content of the subject,divides the functions of chemical history studied in this subject,clarifies the contents and methods of the development of chemical history resources.And then through the literature and the questionnaire,we investigates the demand of teachers for the chemical history materials in high school chemistry.Using the Laurinda Leite scale,this paper analyzes the characteristics of the chemical history in the PEP Chemistry Compulsory Textbooks from the aspects of content,presentation and function orientation.Based on constructivism learning theory,humanisticlearning theory,scientific epistemology and frame theory,we present the principles of chemical history development under different functions: scientific,advanced,adaptive and effective.And we propose the corresponding strategies:(1)Take the chemist experience as the entrance and enhance the readability of the material;(2)Centered on the core knowledge of chemistry,the common sense of material is reflected;(3)The process of chemical research is the way to concentrate the material;(4)With the scientific social background as the guide,emphasize the educational nature of the material.Finally,this paper proposes a echelon model of chemical history development under different functions.The model includes four parts: functional frame,thematic frame,discourse frame and rhetorical frame.And the general process and application examples are given.In order to test the proposed principles,strategies and model is feasible and effective,We have carried out the practice research for nearly one semester in the no.1 high school of Xingtai.In the whole process,using the method of questionnaire and interview to analyze the practical effects of this topic,The changes of common sense orientation,methods and abilities,and orientation of moral education are mainly studied.Conclusion: The principles,strategies and models proposed in this paper are effective.Applying the development of chemical history to teaching,it can help students to make positive changes in common sense orientation,methods and abilities and orientation of moral education.Due to the study time,the limitations of the research object and the limitation of the researcher’s own energy and ability,there are some deficiencies in this study.Therefore,the proposed model and the conclusions need to be further developed,improved and tested in the future practice. |
