Research On The Political Quality Of Young Teachers In Colleges And Universities

Xi Jinping pointed out in the report of CPC 19 th National Congress: "We should strengthen construction of teachers’ ethics and conduct of teachers,train contingent of high-quality teachers,and advocate that the whole society respect teachers and attach great importance to education." It can be seen that the state attaches great importance to quality of teachers.College teachers,especially young teachers,are the core strength and important support of higher education.Political quality of young teachers directly determines the overall political and cultural atmosphere and the overall level of students’ ideological and political education.In order to scientifically analyze connotation of young college teachers’ political quality,explore problems and causes of their political quality,and put forward some strategies and suggestions with theoretical significance and practical value,this article takes young college teacher’s political quality as research object,in accordance with the thought of "raising a question,parsing the problem,solving the problem",and carries on research around how to improve level of young college teachers’ political quality,which is divided into four parts altogether:The first part is introduction of the article.Background and achievement of the topic,domestic and foreign research status,this paper’s research ideas,research methods and research innovation and shortage are introduced.The second part is an overview of political quality of young college teachers.From definition of political quality,constituent elements of political quality and significance of promoting political quality of young college teachers,this part gives theoretical basis of this study.The third part explores problems of young college teachers’ political quality,and tries to analyze causes of problems from three dimensions,including impact of today’s social diversity,lack of ideological and political education of young college teachers,and influence of young teachers’ own negative factors.The fourth part is the part of countermeasures.This paper puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to improve political quality of young teachers in colleges and universities from three dimensions,including shaping a good social atmosphere,strengthening ideological and political theory education of young college teachers,and strengthening self-education of young teachers.
