| At present,China has entered the decisive period of building a moderately prosperous society in all respects.The people are pursuing a better life.Social work upholders the idea of helping others to help themselves,and has irreplaceable role in solving social problems and satisfying people’s needs.The development of social work is inseparable from theoretical research and practical exploration.This paper will start from the source flow and explore the academic research of Chinese social work area.During the period of the Republic of China,it was in the transition period from the traditional to the modern,and the social environment,social structure and social life were all changing.Social work was first introduced into the church by missionaries and charities.With the development of China’s social and the emergence of social problems,more and more attention has been paid.The research on social work from all walks of life has experienced the corresponding process from germination and preliminary formation to development.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part puts forward the research background,purpose and significance,summarizes the current research results,and points out the innovation of this paper.The second part introduces the introduction,development and fracture of social work in the Republic of China,and combing the main publications of social work at that time.The third part firstly introduces the translation of foreign knowledge by scholars in the period of the Republic of China,then the study of case work,group work and community work,as well as special population and field research,mainly aimed at women and children’s social work,relief work and disability reconstruction.The fourth part is the characteristics and contemporary enlightenment of social work research in the Republic of China.It is hoped that this article will clarify the relevant content of social work in the period of the Republic of China and help us to obtain the research value in the major publications.Hopefully,this article will enlighten contemporary social work research. |
