The Study Of Contemporary University Students’ National Consciousness Cultivation

National consciousness is the sum of emotional and psychological identity and cognitive consciousness about the people of the same country.It is a strong embodiment of responsibility,pride and belonging of the nation,it is an important "soft power" in modern countries.College students are very precious talent resources;they are the hope of the nation and the future of our motherland.In the 21 st century,although contemporary college students have higher awareness of national consciousness on the whole,in a diversified society,they are constantly affected;part of them also has some problems,such as: less ownership consciousness,blind patriotism.Universities are the main places for the students’ education,the study of contemporary university students’ national consciousness cultivation is the important subject of theory and practice in colleges’ ideological and political education.The paper is based on the questionnaire survey of six colleges and universities in Sichuan Province,explores the current situation of contemporary college students’ national consciousness.On the basis of these,the author wants to analyze the problems and causes of contemporary college students’ national consciousness,and discuss the relevant content of contemporary college students’ national consciousness cultivation.The research of this paper is mainly carried out through four chapters.The introduction mainly introduces the background,purpose and significance of the subject,the current research situation at home and abroad,the main methods of this topic,the difficulties and innovation of writing.The second chapter describes the definition of core concepts and the related theories.It mainly expounds national consciousness and the cultivation of national consciousness,the main content of university students’ national consciousness cultivation and the practical significance: the requirement of promoting college students themselves healthy growth and harmonious development,the requirement of dealing with the new challenges to economic globalization,the requirement of boycotting the invasion of western decadent ideas,the requirement of achieving Chinese Dream and advancing socialist construction with Chinese characteristics in a new era.The third chapter is the emphasis of the paper.It mainly analyzes the basic state of contemporary college students’ national consciousness.First,according to analyzing the basic situation of questionnaire survey,it expounds the positive embodiment of contemporary college students’ national consciousness and existing problems.Then I analyze the reasons about these questions,that is,the impact and challenge of economic globalization,the negative impact of Internet media,the incompleteness of education and the weak national consciousness of college students themselves.The fourth chapter mainly expounds the countermeasures of cultivating contemporary college students’ national consciousness.It is expounded mainly from the following five aspects: strengthen the content of university students’ national consciousness cultivation,innovate the methods of university students’ nationalconsciousness cultivation,reinforce college students’ national consciousness cultivation system,institution and mechanism construction,give some suggestions about building a good environment for university students’ national consciousness cultivation,and draw on the successful experience of other countries’ national consciousness cultivation,broaden the international vision,then comes up with effective breeding countermeasures.
