Research On Cultivating National Security Consciousness Of College Students In The New Era

As a Chinese saying goes,"We should not forget danger when we are in peace,we should not forget death when we are in survival,and we should not forget chaos when we are in governance." History tells us that prosperity does not mean that we can enjoy peace and stability continuously.Only when we are prepared can we achieve long-term peace and stability of the country.National security is an important cornerstone of national prosperity and people’s peace.Without national security and stability,national rejuvenation and people’s happiness would be out of the question.Socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era.New changes have taken place in the domestic and international environment that we face,and new requirements have been put forward for our work in safeguarding national security.The work of national security aims to protect the interests of the people.All Chinese citizens are in a community of shared interests,shared future,and more importantly,shared responsibilities.The CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping think guided by the overall concept of national security,it has made overall plans to strengthen national security work,improve the national security system,constantly deepen national security education.In this way,a strong joint force can be formed in the whole society to safeguard national security,and the bastion of national security can be effectively built at the grass-roots level,so as to improve the people’s sense of gain,happiness and security.As the hope of national and national development,college students are a solid reserve force to maintain national security.It is of great significance to actively cultivate their awareness of national security and firmly establish the correct concept of national security,which is of great significance to maintain national security and social stability and promote the realization of development goals of the new era in China.This paper is divided into four parts:The first part mainly discusses an overview of relevant theories on cultivating college students’ national security awareness in the new era.First of all,with the specific concept of "security" as the entry point,the paper involved in the concept of national security and other concepts are defined.Secondly,it summarizes the main theoretical basis of cultivating college students’ national security awareness in the new era,which lays a theoretical foundation for further research.Finally,the significance of cultivating college students’ national consciousness is explained from the national,social and individual dimensions.The second part is the analysis of the reasons of cultivating college students’ national security awareness in the new era.By means of questionnaire,inductive analysis on the basis of overall grasp the basic conditions of sample summed up the new era of college students’ national security consciousness cultivation to obtain the basic experience,and on the cultivating goal,cultivating content,cultivation mode,the problems existing in the aspects such as cultivating object carried on the objective analysis,and analyses the causes of these problems.The third part is the implication of the new era of cultivating college students’ national security consciousness.Based on the new situation of the development of national security and the new connotation of the overall concept of national security,this paper analyzes the new requirements and new characteristics,and puts forward a new mode of cultivating college students’ national security awareness with scientific objectives,concise contents,diverse methods and diverse subjects in order to adapt to the new development.The fourth part is the realization path in the new era.It mainly includes the following three aspects: Firstly,the state and society should strengthen the guarantee for the cultivation of national security awareness,constantly improve the top-level design,purify the public opinion environment,and strengthen the support of the government;Secondly,it is necessary to consolidate the main position of cultivating college students’ national security awareness on campus,optimize the main channel of classroom,integrate campus culture cultivation,expand the cultivation position,coordinate online and offline,and promote college students to realize the transformation between the theoretical learning to social practice.Thirdly,it is to enhance the enthusiasm of self-cultivation of college students,cultivate their subject consciousness,guide them to carry out positive self-education,realize the transformation from heteronomy to self-discipline,and achieve the unity of knowledge and action.
