Comprehensive quality assessment is an important means to identify and cultivate good personality of students.The implementation of comprehensive quality assessment will promote the students to have a correct self-recognition,plan their life well and take the initiative to develop and grow;its implementation will also help the schools to grasp the growth rules of students and transform the talent cultivation modes.At present,in terms of the reforms of testing and enrollment systems,a multivariate admission mechanism based on uniform college entrance examination results,academic test scores for high school students and comprehensive quality assessment is being explored,and comprehensive quality assessment becomes one of the bases for the admission to colleges and universities.In addition to the promotion of student's development,it also provides a basis for college enrollment.Its high stakes are related to every individual's interests,so the public has been paying attention to the fairness of comprehensive quality assessment in high schools.Since there are unfair phenomena in the implementation of comprehensive quality assessment on high school students,the research on the fairness of comprehensive quality assessment on high school students is of great significance to the ultimate implementation of fair comprehensive quality assessment.Based on the opinions,schemes or implementation methods of comprehensive quality assessment for ordinary high school students issued by the Ministry of Education and provincial and municipal education bureaus,the fairness of comprehensive quality assessment in high schools is explored via literature analysis method,content analysis method and interview method,so as to gain a systematic understanding of the fairness of comprehensive quality assessment on high school students,propose targeted suggestions and provide a reference for current comprehensive quality assessment on high school students.The study mainly consists of five chapters:Chapter 1 is the Introduction part,which expounds the reason for selecting the fairness of comprehensive quality assessment on high school students as the research topic,reviews the literature related to comprehensive quality assessment and its fairness and student assessment fairness,defines the core concepts and explains the purpose and significance of the study.Chapter 2 discusses the connotation and significance of fairness of comprehensive quality assessment on high school students.The theory part involves two aspects of contents: firstly,what are the connotation and attribute of fairness of comprehensive quality assessment on high school students,which lays a foundation for subsequent study;secondly,what's the significance of guaranteeing the fairness of comprehensive quality assessment on high school students.The significance is expounded from three perspectives: guaranteeing the objectivity of assessment to facilitate students' overall development,guaranteeing the legitimacy of assessment to promote the implementation of policies,and guaranteeing scientific selection of materials to promote the fairness and stability of the society.In Chapter 3,through the summarization and analysis of provincial and municipal comprehensive quality assessment literatures and the interviews with teachers,students,unfair phenomena in the comprehensive quality assessment on high school students are identified,and the problems in the fairness of comprehensive quality assessment on high school students are pointed out.Chapter 4 explores the underlying reason for fairness problems in comprehensive quality assessment on high school students,which include four aspects: firstly,social environmental factors of comprehensive quality assessment;secondly,system design factors of comprehensive quality assessment;thirdly,operation and implementation factors of comprehensive quality assessment;fourthly,result utilization factors of comprehensive quality assessment.In Chapter 5,corresponding suggestions are proposed to enhance the fairness of comprehensive quality assessment on high school students,including developing a law system of comprehensive quality assessment and securing legal fairness;perfecting the fairness rule system and providing institutional guarantee;strengthening training and communication,and improving the quality of the assessors;reasonably using information techniques,and guaranteeing the accurateness of materials and data;establishing an assessment feedback mechanism,and expanding the range of utilization of assessment results;introducing a third-party assessment organization,and coordinating the interests within main bodies.It is hoped that this study will provide a reference for the comprehensive quality assessment policy makers,teachers and schools.
