Bullying cases occurred frequently in Primary school,the damage more and more deep,and getting more and more hidden,inflict lasting damage on students’ physical and mental development.In April 2016,state council issued The Notice of Manage Bullying,all localities are required to carry out special treatment on issues of bullying in schools.This study believes that the head teacher should play an important role in the governance of bullying in school.Therefore,this study conducted a investigationon of head teacher’s ability of dealing with bullying.This study takes ChangChun J primary school as an example,from the aspects of willingness dimension,knowledge dimension,preventive education,on-the-spot coping,bullying and aftermath to deal with bullying,the primary school head teacher’s ability to cope with bullying.Founds that head teachers have problems with ideological and cognitive biases,lack of relevant knowledge,and lack of standardized coping mechanisms when head teacher responds to bullying.This study believes that improving primary school head teachers’ ability to cope with bullying should start with the following aspects.First,improve ideological understanding,incorporate bullying into job duties,avoid evasion and fear.Second,expand the knowledge of school bullying and increase the knowledge of education theory and legal knowledge.Third,attach importance to preventive education and strengthen daily safety education.Fifth,assist schools and parents in establishing a bullying response mechanism.Head teacher plays a role in communication and coordination.
