There are a large number of inequality relations in nature,inequality is a mathematical symbol describing these inequality relations.Inequality is not only a major branch of mathematics,but also provides an important tool for people to solve daily life problems.The senior high school stage is an important stage for learning and researching inequality.The Ordinary Senior High School Curriculum Standard(Experiment)puts forward specific requirements for students' learning inequalities solution,inequalities application,and inequalities proving.At present,the study of high school students' learning inequality mainly focuses on classroom teaching and inequality,and there is less research on student inequality proof.The purpose of this paper is to understand the current level of high school students in solving problems of inequality proof through literature,questionnaires,and interviews,and to understand what major difficulties students face when they prove inequality problems,and to provide teachers' teaching and student learning in the future.some advices.Because the inequality proves that the comprehensiveness of the problem is relatively high,the object selected for this paper is the senior high school student.At the same time,several high school mathematics teachers in the front line are interviewed.Through reading the literature,this paper selects the SOLO classification method to divide students' understanding level into P level,U level,M level,and R level,and analyzes the typical responses for each level.Through investigation and research,the present study found that the current level of students' problems in solving basic inequalities proved to be high,and the level of solving comprehensive inequalities proved to be generally low,and most of them were in the U level and M level.The main errors of students include the misunderstanding of basic knowledge,the error of algebraic calculations,the confusion of proof logic,and the low level of thinking association.Because the inequality in the college entrance examination proves that the problem is difficult,some teachers and students will voluntarily give up time to delve into inequality to prove the problem.In view of these current situations,it is suggested that teachers and students consider teaching and learning that emphasize inequality proof from the long-term development,pay attention to improving computing ability,and pay attention to cultivating mathematical thinking ability in teaching and learning.
