Objectives: The purpose of this study is to investigate the status quo of professional identity,initiative learning and competence of primary school majors in Hangzhou Normal University,to explore the relationship between professional identity,initiative learning and competency in internship.And thus it can provide a basis to improve students' professional identity,competence of primary education.Methods: A questionnaire on professional identity,learning initiative and competence of 160 primary school majors in Hangzhou Normal University was carried out.The status quo of professional identity,learning initiative and competence of internship were analyzed by using a descriptive method,and the group characteristics were analyzed at the same time.The difference of them in aspect of each demography,majors and only child variable was investigated.The correlation between the primary school students' initiative learning,professional identity and competency was discussed.Result:(1)The overall average of status quo of primary students' learning initiative is 3.32 points,and it indicated a strong initiative to learn.The highest score on the meaning sense of learning is 4.39 points,and the lowest score of 2.72 points is the learning maintenance.The three dimensions of learning sense,attribution and the efficiency of maintaining were significantly different among only child.Learning attribution also has significantly differences in gender.Learning initiative is significantly correlated with its dimensions(p<0.01),and it has a high correlation coefficient.Each dimension could better reflect the learning initiative of primary school teachers.(2)The overall average score of the status primary students' competency is 3.90 points,and it indicated a strong competency,could successfully complete the task of teachers in the future.The lowest score of 3.31 points is the skill characteristics.The highest score,which is the dimension of personality traits,is 4.35 points.There is statistically significant difference for competency in gender and only child.Competency of teachers is significantly correlated with its dimensions(p <0.01),and it has a high correlation coefficient.Each dimension could better reflect the competency of primary school teachers,these dimensions can better performance of the teacher's ability.(3)The overall average score of the status primary students' professional identity is 3.83 points,and it indicated a strong sense of professional identity.The highest score 3.96 points is awareness dimension.The dimension of awareness in the level of only child has a significant difference.There is a significant correlation(p<0.01)between the professional identities of primary education and their each dimensions(p <0.01),and the correlation coefficient is high.These dimensions can better reflect the professional identity of students(4)There is a significantly correlation(p<0.01)among the professional identity,competency and learning initiative of primary education students.And improve students' sense of professional identity and promote students' initiative learning and teacher competency.
