In 2012,Zhejiang Provincial Department of Education launched the ‘Zhejiang Famous Teacher & Headmaster Training Program',that is,the so-called ‘Double Name Project',which was the high-end elementary and middle school teacher training program in Zhejiang Province.The purpose is to train a group of academic leaders who have advanced teaching concepts,innovative spirit,and focus on student development.In this paper,we have made questionnaire survey on 1600 training candidates in the ‘Double Name Project',during the ‘12th Five-Year Plan' period,and mainly studied the effectiveness of training,the implementation of training,and the rationality of training.By means of research and analysis,it is found that the program has achieved remarkable results overall,and the trainees' professional growth is good.Most of them thought that their professional growth was closely related to the training.Therefore,the overall evaluation of the program is higher.In the process of training and implementation,it is found that there were significant differences in the time their spending on training,the degree of their devotion to the program,and their guidance to the trainees among the different training institutions,in which some problems were produced.We think that the rationality of the training schedules needs to be improved,and the allocation of funds needs to be more scientific.In the aspect of science teacher training,by interviewing with the science teachers and project managers who participated in the training,we concluded that high-end training for science teachersshould follow the characteristics of mainly practice-based,theory as supplement,emphasis on radiative communication ability.The contents of training for high school physics teachers and junior high school science teachers need to be adjusted flexibly.In this paper,several suggestions to solving conflict between working and learning,and problems arising from the use of project funds in the ‘Double Name Project' are proposed.In addition,in order to obtain better training effect,the individualized training programs for trainees are also discussed.We hope that these suggestions are useful to the relevant training institutions.The content of this paper is arranged as follows:In the first chapter,the background and development of teacher education is introduced.In the second chapter,the concept of teacher training is made clear.By means of documentation,the characteristics of teacher training in developed countries as well as the development situation of science teachers training in China are summarized.In the third chapter,three questionnaires are designed for the participants in the ‘Double Name Project',including trainees,project managers and training institutions.The fourth chapter is the main part of the full text.The teacher training is studied mainly from two aspects.On the one hand,overall training is aimed at.The effectiveness,the implementation,and the rationality of training are investigated.On the other hand,by interviewing with the science teachers and project managers,the characteristics of the science teachers' high-end training are summarized from the guiding ideas,design concepts,curriculum arrangements,etc.Finally,in the fifth chapter,the significance of the science teachers' high-end trainingin ‘Double Name Project' is elaborated.In addition,several suggestions to solving conflict between working and learning,and problems arising from the use of project funds which highlighted in the ‘Double Name Project' are proposed.
