The Study On The Problem Of Social Work's Participation In Helping The Needy Workers

The problem of helping and supporting the needy workers is one of the important contents of the Party Central Committee's poverty alleviation work.The trade unions play an important role in helping the needy working staff.With the transformation of our country from the planned economy to the market economy,the focus of the support for the needy workers has also been extended from the past only focusing on material poverty alleviation to material and spiritual poverty alleviation.The professional concept of “helping people to help themselves” in social work advocates not only paying attention to the physical aspects of the needy workers,but also paying attention to their spiritual issues,and ultimately helping them to actively integrate into life and work.The author is based on the author's six-month internship experience in H company,using the method of case work to intervene in the work and life of the client F and the client Z,under the guidance of the theory of power replenishment and social support theory,for the owner and their family members provide support services.Compared with H companies relying solely on labor unions to carry out their work,social workers can serve multiple roles in the overall support services.There are first-time information “informants” roles,resource integration “liaison” roles,and professions "service person" role,through the conversion between roles,the final completion of the help service.At the same time,author has carried out a reflection on social worker involved in helping the needy workers and hoped to improve the company's social work awareness and recognition,assist the company in establishing normative support regulations,and strengthen the “hematopoietic” function of the needy workers.Social work is better involved in the work of the needy workers.
