Mind map is a kind of visualized teaching aid which shows the brain’s thinking process in terms of texts,symbols and images.Since the advent of the mind map,mind map has been widely used in various fields.What’s more,the mind map has also been widely applied in many other subjects’ teaching processes.While in the Chinese teaching,especially the Chinese teaching in senior high schools lacks of the mind map related researches and applications.The application of mind map in Chinese reading teaching in senior high schools is one of the means that initiatives the traditional teaching mode,which can effectively improve the efficiency of teachers’ teaching,encourage students to actively participate in the teaching process,and improve the present status of Chinese reading teaching in senior high schools.The paper,starting with this point,vividly shows the research of the application of mind map in the field of Chinese reading teaching in senior high schools.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part elaborates the reasons,research values and research methods of this paper.It also summarizes the application status of the mind map in education community domestically and internationally.The second part defines the important concepts in the research,and comprehensively introduces the theory basis of the application of the mind map in the teaching process.The third part puts forward the establishment of the flowing chart of Chinese reading teaching through the application principles of mind map in Chinese reading teaching in senior high schools and the combination of the general process of reading teaching.The fourth part expounds the practical application of the mind map in Chinese reading teaching in senior high schools.Based on the teaching flowing chart,I have designed the teaching plans,ranging from prose,fiction,poetry,practical articles to the writings in classical style.The fifth part,depending on the specific situation of teaching,puts forward some suggestions on the application of mind map in Chinese reading teaching in senior high schools from two perspectives: the teacher and the students.
