The new curriculum reform is embodied in the construction of the core literacy system,and the subject competence is the basic connotation of the core literacy,and with the development of economic globalization,people gradually realize the importance of the ability.The students' subject ability needs to be further improved,but because of the imbalance of the regional education development,the deviation of the educational idea and the unreasonable system of the entrance examination system in our country for a long time,too much academic burden has caused the improvement of the students' ability to fall into a bottleneck.Therefore,only by further clarifying the relationship between academic burden and subject ability,can the relationship between them be used effectively to promote the overall development of students.This study aimed to explore the relationship between academic burden and C city Y county middle school mathematics ability,students of grade eight in Y County as the research object of this study,and the education quality monitoring data of Y County as the foundation for "second analysis",explore the relationship between the two conditions through statistical analysis method,then explore the influence factors through interviews,the main conclusions are as follows: 1.The students in Y county have good mathematics ability,the students have the best concept understanding and the worst reasoning ability,and the middle school students in the county town are better than the township students,and the female students have better academic ability than the male students in Y county.However,the pressure on students in studying time is relatively heavy,and the burden of township students is higher than that of township students,and the burden of boys is higher than that of girls.2.The burden of middle school students' mathematics academic work has a negative effect on the ability of mathematics subjects.Moreover,the mathematics subject ability of middle school students in county town is more easily affected by the burden of mathematics study,the female students' mathematics subject ability is more easily influenced by the mathematics academic burden,the study time has a positive influence on the mathematics subject ability,and the pressure of the course work.The difficulty and emotion of school work have a negative influence on the ability of mathematics.3.The form of examination-oriented education,the social problems such as single-parent family and left-behind children,family structure and parents' educational concept,the teaching method of teachers,etc.The characteristics of students' physical and mental development and cognitive development,as well as the imbalance of urban and rural educational resources allocation,are the important factors that affect the relationship between mathematics academic burden and mathematics ability.Finally,based on the analysis of the research conclusions and influencing factors,some suggestions are put forward to serve as reference for educational administrative units,schools,students and future researchers.
