Since the founding of the People's Republic of China,the problem of academic burden has been a hot topic in the field of basic education,and it has also been an educational problem that has been difficult to completely solve.In the21 st century,with the deepening of the new curriculum reform,the demands for implementation of quality education and the reduction of students' academic burdens are rising.The academic community has begun to constantly review the problem of academic burden,and attempts to use qualitative and quantitative methods to monitor students' academic burden and investigate the causes of the overburdened academic burden,influencing factors and the relationship between academic burden and other educational variables.Academic burden is closely related to academic performance.How to grasp the“degree” of academic burden has always been the concern of teachers,parents and students.To explore the relationship between schoolchildren's academic burden and mathematics achievement,the paper takes students from grades 4 to 6 of L Primary School in HuaiBei City as samples.Based on the questionnaire survey data and mathematics scores in the final year 2017-2018 exam,it uses relevant analysis,regression analysis,independent sample T test,one-way variance analysis,and takes statistical analysis of the data,and explores the influence of schoolchildren academic burden to mathematical performance.This study can not only enrich the theoretical system of the academic burden of Chinese academic burden,but also provide of educational decision-making evidence for education administration departments,and at the same time provide important references for the education management of teachers and parents.The results show that:The pupils feels stress out relatively.It not only reflects the aspect of long-time learning with much more difficult classes,but also the urgency of high stress and their serious learning-weariness mind.In terms of mathematics achievement,the mean scores of the fourth,fifth and sixth grade were 85.17,85.50 and 72.75 respectively.The scores in the fourth and fifth graders were significantly higher than those in the sixth grade.At the same time,the distribution of the students in each score segment is quite different in the fourth and fifth grades,but most of them are those who got higher scores.And the number of sixth graders in each score segment is relatively balanced.Comparing the relationship between their academic stress and achievement in different grades,there were different performances and correlations among the aspects,such as learning time,the number of classes,difficulty and pressure in tasks,external expectations and competitive pressure,learning fatigue,and tiredness.Based on the results of the study,it puts forward a series of feasible measures and suggestions for alleviating the academic press and improving mathematics performance.They are: 1)parents and teachers should set reasonable expectations for primary school students;2)The education administrative department should formulate appropriate curriculum standards;3)Adjusting the difficulty of school work is necessary.Above all,the purpose of the study wants to improve the education quality and provide reference for similar research.Thesis mainly includes the following chapters:Chapter One is the introduction,which is mainly includes the origin of the research,the meaning,the reviews of both national and abroad,the basic definition,etc.Chapter Two is the design and implementation of study.It mainly includes the objectives,solutions,tools and object selection,etc.Chapter Three is the basic situation analysis of the status of primary school children's academic burden and mathematics achievement.It mainly includes thebasic situation of sample composition,the mathematics achievement and the academic burden of primary school students'.Chapter Four is the analysis of the correlation between primary school mathematics achievement and academic burden.It mainly includes correlation analysis between academic tasks,academic pressure,learning burnout stress and mathematics achievement,the regression analysis of academic burden on mathematics performance,difference test of academic burden and mathematics achievement,single factor variance analysis of academic burden and mathematics achievement.Chapter Five is the conclusion of the study.We obtained the conclusion that the relationship between academic tasks,academic pressures,learning burnout stress,different grades and mathematics results through the above study.Chapter Six is propose countermeasures and suggestions from all aspects,which aimed at the above problems,to improve the primary school children's academic burden and improve the mathematics results.This study has constructed a comparatively scientific questionnaire about academic burden assessment,explored the impact of academic burden to mathematics achievement from the perspective of qualitative and quantitative analysis,and provided corresponding decision-making recommendations.The paper has a certain degree of innovation.Due to the limited sample size,whether the conclusions can be promoted in a wider range remains to be further tested in practice.
