| The advancement of the college entrance examination reform has made it extremely urgent for our country’s ordinary senior high school to carry out career education."Experiential learning" as an important way in the process of human learning has the characteristics of subjectivity,reflection and interaction.These characteristics coincide with the expected results to be achieved by "career education" Which is highlighted with individuality and practicality.Therefore,from the perspective of experiential learning,reflecting about senior high school career education has profound practical significance.Through literature review,comparative research,questionnaires,and interviews with teachers,this study outlines the theoretical basis of experiential learning;clarifies the connotation and characteristics of experiential career education in senior high schools;and understands the current status of experiential career education in senior high schools.Then it summarizes the main problems in its development,and analyzes the causes of the problems,and then puts forward strategies to improve the experiential career education in senior high schools in China.The paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter clarifies the background and clarifies the significance of the research from three perspectives: the intrinsic appeal of senior high school career education because of the reform of the new college entrance examination system,the review and reflection of the current senior high school career education practice,and the necessity and possibility of experiential career education in senior high schools.It uses the literature research method to sort out domestic and foreign studies on career education,experiential learning,and experiential career education.Based on the reflection on the existing research,the idea of this research is clarified and the research method is determined.The second chapter mainly outlines the theoretical foundation of experiential learning,and on this basis,it links the career education and experiential learning of senior high school,which provides a theoretical reference for the development of career education based on experiential learning in China’s senior high school,and points out the direction of its development.The third chapter mainly expounds the connotation and characteristics of experiential career education in senior high school,and summarizes its connotation from the four aspects of career experience concept,career experience goal,career experience content and career experience implementation process,and summarizes five characteristics of it which are individuality,experience,emotion,interaction,and reflection.The fourth chapter is based on the connotation and characteristics of experiential career education in senior high school.It is mainly based on questionnaires and supplemented by interviews.It investigates the status quo of the implementation of all senior high school career education in XS County and summarizes four main problems during the process of implementing experiential career education.First,the career experience goals need to be clarified;second,the content of career experience is not enough;third,the career experience process is not deep enough;Fourth,the guidance of career experience is not ideal.And it analyzes the causes of the existing problems from four aspects: first,the weak status of career education;second,the lack of career experience resources;third,the lack of student reflection and practical ability;fourth,the quality of teacher career guidance needs to be improved.The fifth chapter is based on the basic concept of experiential learning,focusing on the four aspects of career management competences,resources of career experience,implementation process of career experience,and career guidance competences of teacher.It discusses how to take the college entrance examination reform as an opportunity according to China’s national conditions to carry out experiential career education and improve the effectiveness of career education in senior high school. |
