The new college entrance examination reform pays attention to students'comprehensive quality evaluation,development of personality and specialty,academic arrangement and career planning.Faced with diversified selection methods,early planning of life and clear professional intention are conducive to stimulating learning motivation and promoting student development.Career planning education has become an important task in the new era.Through the questionnaire survey,this study aims to understand the current career maturity of senior high school students.From the perspective of cognitive information processing theory,an experiential group counseling program is designed.Through the experimental method,the students in the experimental group were given group guidance.The control group did not receive any counseling.At the end of the experiment,the career maturity of the two groups was tested,and the results of the two tests were compared to analyze the coaching effect.The conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)Senior high school students' career maturity is generally in good condition,but their development is inconsistent.Strong career decision-making attitude and initiative;In terms of the knowledge of career decision-making,the lack of understanding of the professional world makes it difficult to choose the professional intention.(2)The career maturity of senior high school students is affected by many factors,including school type,one-child status,class cadre status,family economic conditions,family consumption mode and parents' education level.(3)The stability and utility of the students in the control group were slightly reduced,but there was no difference in the measurement of career maturity before and after,indicating that the natural growth could not significantly improve the career maturity of senior high school students in the short term,so it is very necessary to provide career guidance for them.(4)After experiential group counseling,students in +the experimental group have significantly improved their initiative,independence,utilitarianism,professional world knowledge,professional self-knowledge,and career maturity.(5)The guidance program has a considerable effect on improving the career maturity of senior high school students.It is specific in content,simple in operation,and can be applied to high school career education after detailed and revised.
