The teaching of novel reading in high school aims to stimulate students’ interest in novel reading and improve their reading ability.In practical teaching area,however,there are still problems to be settled,and the matter which remains to be explored is that how do students read and how do teachers teach.In this paper,we focus on clarifying the strategies of novel reading teaching in high school through three research method including literature analysis,case study and questionnaire suvey study.This paper is divided into four parts: Chapter one is mainly about the research background,research summary and research ideas.Chapter two mainly analyzes the Curriculum Requirements and teaching materials selection;Chapter three is the investigation of The teaching of novel reading in high school.Chapter four,the most significant part,mainly puts foward effective strategies from the aspects of tagert determination,method innovation and special content designation.All in all,based on the former research results and the on-site investigation,the paper proposes the implementing strategy,which contributes to the improvement of currently novel-teaching of in high school.
