In China,basic education has long emphasized “reception learning” methods,which ignores students’ subjectivity,vanishes students’ creativity,and seriously hinders students’ all-round development.With the deep going of education reform and curriculum reform,the era calls for new teaching methods and learning approaches.Research learning is a new approach of study with students’ independent exploration as the core,which takes students as the subject,gives free rein to students’ subjectivity and creativity,and cultivates students’ exploring spirit,problem consciousness,innovation spirit and practical ability,so as to promote the all-round development of students’ multiple intelligences and comprehensive quality.It is the learning method strongly advocated by course reform of basic education.Research learning in Chinese teaching in senior high school is a specific application within the Chinese language discipline.Nowadays,the implementation of research learning in Chinese teaching in senior high school is in the phase of exploration,and there are many problems,which need educators to do further comprehensive theoretical and practical investigation.The paper first introduces the research background,research purpose and significance,literature review,theoretical basis,and summarizes the research ideas and approach of this thesis.Secondly,it specifically describes the objectives,attributes and basic models of “research learning in Chinese teaching” in senior high school,and expounds the basic meaning,idea,and teaching program of its two basic models,which makes it more concrete and operable in practical use.The third part is the investigation and study,where the author conducted a questionnaire survey among the students of grade 2 in YongJing Middle School,Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture,interviewed some students and teachers.It makes a comprehensive analysis of the survey results,and finally summarizes by details the existing problems of teachers,students and local education authorities in the process of the implementation of research learning in Chinese teaching in senior high school.The last part proposes some concrete and feasible strategies and suggestions to students,teachers,and local education authorities respectively,in view of the survey results and findings,which aims to promote the practical and effective development of research learning in Chinese teaching in senior high school,really reform the approaches of teaching and learning,develop a meaningful deep learning approach,and finally accomplish comprehensive upgrade of students’ Chinese language quality.
