University administrative staff play an important role in the operation and development of colleges and universities.In recent years,with the deepening of China's higher education reform,especially the construction of the "Double top" strategy,higher requirements are raised for the quality and work on university administrative staff.Compared with the in-depth study and wide-ranging practice of the Appraisal system for university teaching staff,the research and pioneering practice in the construction of performance appraisal system for university administrative staff is particularly lacking.The establishment of a scientific and efficient performance appraisal system for university administrative staff will help improve the level of university administration work and help increase the vitality and competitiveness of colleges and universities.However,the characteristics of university administrators aggravate the difficulty of effective performance appraisal.This paper does not select a single theory or method to construct the performance appraisal system.It has done more in-depth theoretical analysis and status research in the construction of China's administration staff performance appraisal system.The characteristics of performance and the law of performance appraisal were analyzed.The status quo of the performance appraisal of managers in some colleges and universities was investigated and their problems were summarized.The general requirements and universal basic conditions for the establishment of performance appraisal system for university administration staff in universities in China were also investigated,then put forward the principles and ideas for building a performance appraisal system.On this basis,the method of using multi-dimension appraisal subject was determined,the indicators of the performance appraisal system were determined by using the literature method and the expert method,and the weights of the individual appraisal subjects and indicators were calculated through the AHP.This paper selected U University as a carrier of practice.Through the use of this performance appraisal practice in U University,this system was tested.By evaluating the quality of the performance appraisal system,the objectivity of appraisal,and the effect of use,it was proved that the appraisal system basically achieved The demand for design is a set of scientific and effective performance appraisal system.The performance appraisal work should be continuously improved through constant inspection and improvement.Finally,the author puts forward his own suggestions for the direction of the construction of the performance appraisal system for university administration staff in China.
